LAVARONE SKI CENTRE – ALPE CIMBRA SKI RESORT
Ideal starting point for children to take their first steps on snow, and for the more advanced skiers to improve and refine their techniques.
The vast skiing carousel Lavarone Ski Centre – part of the bigger Alpe Cimbra Ski Resort (100km of slopes) – is characterised by expansive sunny areas equipped with colourful baby parks and playground, such as Neveland, and with thematic and wavy slopes.
The Ski Centre mostly consist of easy slopes, which are especially suitable for baby beginners, and which makes it one of the best Ski Resort for families in Trentino.
However, it does not lack a challenge for those who seek it: the black slope Avez del Prinzep is the longest of all the Ski Resort and the most breathtaking of it all.
The Ski Centre stretches from Lavarone Bertoldi to the high alpine pasture of Passo Vezzena, an area that embraces magnificent alpine scenery that is different at every stage: from Alpe di Vezzena you can look out onto a truly breathtaking panoramic window from which you can admire the splendour of the Brenta Dolomites peaks, Marmolada and Adamello.
The whole Alpe Cimbra Ski Resort adopt artificial snow technology, to ensure the working condition of all the slopes even in the less snowy months.
Lavarone Ski School works throughout the Lavarone Ski Centre, with the lessons meeting points at Lavarone Bertoldi and Passo Vezzena. On request the School can arrange a transfer to the Folgaria Ski Centre.
